Our range of products, which incorporate handbags, folios, satchels, wallets, purses and other accessories, is designed and manufactured in Australia using the finest Australian Kangaroo, Emu, Ostrich leather and Sheepskin. The Kangaroo and Emu are native Australian animals and in order to survive in the vast rugged Australian outback they had to become resilient and adaptable. As a result their leather has developed unusual characteristics. It is fine, soft, extremely tough and highly durable.

The natural scars and imperfections on the leather are an assurance that these products are genuine. All our leather products are designed and handcrafted by highly experienced craftsmen to superior quality standards, with specific attention to detail.

Travelworld Leathergoods was established in 1977. From its modest beginnings as a small workshop producing a handful of units, it grew quickly to become a highly regarded company, developing its overseas presence by exporting to New Zealand, Japan, U.S.A., Europe and the Middle East. Travelworld began its manufacturing activities by producing leather handbags for specialty shoe and handbag stores. Soon after it became involved with major national discount chains, seeing its production increase dramatically over a short period of time.
In the early 80's Travelworld moved into the challenging middle to upper market, producing high quality leather handbags, which were marketed through national prestigious department stores such as Myer-Grace Bros., David Jones and Georges.
The 80's were also a time of unprecedented corporate activity when demand for highly specialized corporate products grew significantly. This led to our inevitable involvement in this market, where we have produced a wide range of products for a diverse group of clients ranging from motor vehicle companies to restauranteurs. Our list of clients include international names such as Nissan, ICI, the Grand Hyatt Hotel Group and others.
The increased tourist activity in Australia attracted our attention, leading to our successful involvement in this area as well, supplying most of the major duty free chains.
Our diversification and capability to offer such a wide range of quality products is to a significant extent attributable to the knowledge and ability of our highly experienced and committed staff.
The use of some distinctly different raw materials such as EMU and Kangaroo leathers, which are Australian in nature and substance, in conjunction with the latest technology and equipment, typifies a company which is determined to be different and a step ahead.

VIVACE NUBUCK KANGAROO / SHEEPSKIN RANGE
'VIVACE' - NUBUCK LEATHER RANGE - (Handbags and small leathergoods). Kangaroo leather has a grain running in both directions (cross) whereas sheepskin's grain runs in one direction. Such opposing grains offer, strength, stability and softness. The clever marriage of these two types of leather has resulted in a superb range of products.
