The PMC Series 3 is a sophisticated yet cost effective pump and motor controller designed, manufactured and assembled here in Australia. This advanced controller is supplied fully programmed with one of our comprehensive pump control programs, developed to suit two or three pumps and meet the needs of most drainage or sewerage pump stations, irrigation pumps, pressure pump systems and many other applications with the one pump controller.
For custom designed projects the PMC Series 3 is a fully programmable controller (micro PLC) that has been designed especially for pump control applications. It's ability to be easily programmed makes it the clear choice where you need to accommodate special functional requirements.
The PMC Series 3 is a low profile unit supplied suitable for front panel or escutcheon door mounting. A special feature is that this multi functional controller has as on-board operator interface with 7 pushbutton switches and 23 indicating LED's, eliminating the need for external pushbuttons, indicating lights, control and selector switches. The PMC Series 3 controller handles complex sequencing and timing tasks with ease with up to ten external inputs (six of which are capable of direct connection to conductivity probes) eight solid state "sinking" (NPN transistor) outputs, eight timers, counter, on-board beeper and two configuration jumpers. The on-board operator interface devices do not consume regular inputs and outputs. An on-board watch dog timer chip provides enhanced reliability in high noise environments.
A separate and optional 4 channel, 4-20ma relay module Model PMC-AD4, with 3 digit 10mm, 7 segment display and DC power supply to drive a loop powered sensor is also available. This allows the PMC Series 3 controller to accept inputs from ultrasonic or hydrostatic pressure transmitters. The select button allows the user to cycle through the channel set points and hysteresis values, display mode and scale factor. This allows the user to set the trip points with digital accuracy, and also get an accurate display of set point information. The set points and hysteresis can be set in percentage, milli-amps, or any engineering units from 1-999 full scale.
The following fully programmed and configured standard pump controllers are available "ready to go" and can be used with any of the above input types of controls.

The PMC Series 3 uses Simple Programmed Logic Automation Tool technology which is an innovative approach to making electric controls for timing, sequencing and control tasks. Programming is performed in windows on a PC, using the SPLAT/PC software package. This provides a powerful language and a set of debugging and commissioning tools that will make development a breeze. SPLAT/PC incorporates and acclaimed tutorial, on screen simulation of the controller and many other productivity tools to cut down development costs.
The PMC Series 3 is supplied ready for mounting into your pump control panel. Only high quality components and materials are used throughout, and every unit is rigorously tested prior to shipment.
The 6 point water level interface is suitable for conductivity probes or float switches. An AC excitation current is applied to the probe and the probe resistance is determined. A single adjustment sets the threshold resistance for all points. The probe is connected to the board via a single common plus one per terminal point.
The PMC Series 3 features an on-board operator interface. This not only allows you substantial cost savings by saving on the provision, mounting and wiring of external buttons and lamps, but also lets you design your own "look and feel" to the end product.
These controls are programmed as inputs and outputs. A special instruction, inputK, captures momentary (edge triggered) activation of push buttons and automatically gives a short beep. The configuration jumpers are direct processor inputs fitted with removable jumpers.

Programmable Pump Controller with On Board Interface "THE SOLUTION TO YOUR PUMP CONTROLS" The PMC Series 3-2
is a sophisticated yet cost effective pump and motor controller.
This advanced controller is supplied fully programmed with a
comprehensive pump control program developed to suit the needs of
most drainage and sewerage pump requirements, but also suitable for
many other applications. The loaded program can be set to operate any
one of three
subroutines, by location of Option Link provided on P.C.B
.
No Option Link ~ 2 pumps, duty and standby with 4 alarms (basic program).
Option Link 1 ~ 2 pumps duty and standby with 4 alarms (seal fail indication). Option Link
2 ~ 2 pumps duty only
with standby transfer and 5 alarms. The PMC Series 3-2
controller has up to 10 inputs of which 6
inputs are liquid conductivity sensing. A single sensitivity
adjustment pot controls probe sensitivity from 1k ohm to 100k ohm. A
touch switch allows selection of full alternation mode or fixed
duty/standby mode. Pump selection switches give AUTO/OFF/MAN mode of
operation.
The standard
configuration has the flexibility to operate with as few as two or
up to seven floats, probes or pressure switches. Standard features
include inputs for low level alarm, duty stop level, standby stop
level, duty start level, standby start level high level alarm and no
flow alarm. Indicating LED's are programmed to show when any of
these inputs are "active", in turn the level in the wet
well is monitored via these LED's. LED's also indicate pump run,
pump fault and alarm muted modes. PMC Series 3-2 Pump Controller
