Members of the ASSOCIATION OF NOISE CONTROL ENGINEERING Inc. believe that the interests of our community may best be served through the observation of a code of ethics relevant to our specialist field of noise control engineering.

Members of the ASSOCIATION OF NOISE CONTROL ENGINEERING Inc. are expected to:

Ensure that they provide a high standard of competent technical service;

Be fair, reasonable and honest in all dealings with clients and members of the community who may require their expertise;

Comply with all laws and regulations in the conduct of their business;

Support educational programs which will create community awareness of health risks of noise exposure;

Assist in the drafting of appropriate legislation and preparation of standards for the control of noise, when approached by relevant organisations;

Act always in a manner which advances the standing of our profession within the community;

Encourage and preserve by every means possible, expertise in the noise control engineering profession.
