CONCEPTS IN STEEL
MINWA (Aust.) was incorporated
in 1992 and commenced operation in that year as a Wire Cutting and Straightening
company. In 1993, the Company began manufacturing trolleys and containers
for the retail and clothing industries in response to market demand.
During 1996 a decision was made
to restructure the company. The Wire Straightening and Cutting section was
sold to one of the three directors. The remaining two directors of MINWA,
Neil Ronaldson and Wally Sienkiewicz, began to take the company into new
and diversified directions.
The company's core activity is
the manufacture of airport baggage trolleys, various other trolleys and
stillages (storage bins), but more work is now being done in design and
manufacture of other specialised storage units and systems.
A major strength of MINWA is the
wealth of experience the directors have between them - approximately 50
years in the metal industry. Other key personnel have a similar history
in the industry. These key people combine their significant design and manufacturing
talents to provide innovative engineering solutions in material handling
systems and equipment. Custom designing to the clients needs and problem
solving is an inherent company strength.
The range of innovative products
and systems offered by Minwa (Aust) Pty Ltd continues to increase as the
company embarks on its quest for new concepts and product applications in
